John MerrickThis morning Lori and Jeff stopped their car and picked me up on side of busy road where I was stranded when sidewall of my tire blew out. We had never met. They took me back to their shop where their son Paul, a bike mechanic, fixed my bike, while I enjoyed a pastry and beverage in their cafe and watched the Vuelta. Incredibly kind and helpful people. And their shop and cafe were great too! Life savers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Michael MoralesHad a great experience here from start to finish. I came in looking for a hybrid bike that could tow a child trailer. Jeff was fantastic — he took his time walking me through the options, offered bikes within my price range, and never once pushed me toward something I didn't need. Really appreciated the no-pressure approach. After I brought the bike home, I had a minor mishap with the kickstand that affected the rear derailleur. Brought it back in and Kate got it sorted out right while I waited, and even shared some useful tips. That kind of quick, friendly service really stands out. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming and clearly knew their stuff - this is the kind of shop where you'll feel taken care of. Highly recommend!

ErinEveryone there was so kind and patient even when the shop was incredibly busy. The pro fitter, Laurie, is awesome and incredibly knowledgeable on anatomy. Great shop for smaller or women cyclists - they understood my sizing issues and made adjustments before I even asked. Their group rides are welcoming and inclusive. Great coffee bar with some local teas and snack. All around great spot!

Dave YoungProteus Bikes has earned a customer for life. John, their Specialized e-bike mechanic, is the real deal — he's tackled everything on my Levo SL from a motor replacement to a full drivetrain and shifter overhaul. I ride my e-mountain bike hard, and John keeps it trail-ready every time. On the sales side, Paul is equally impressive. When I flagged a price drop on my new Levo 4, he emailed me back on a day the shop was closed and committed to making it right. He cared more about my experience than the bottom line. That's rare. Highly recommend!

Austin JonesPaul and the folks at Proteus were very helpful when I was trying to decide between a handful of bikes. Paul was patient and kind. He let me take my time and ride each bike back to back. He introduced me to a bike I had never heard of before and I ended up really enjoying. Great experience. Thanks Paul
